The Malaysia-India Business Council (MIBC) held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April 2025 at Media Hotel, Petaling Jaya, followed by a post-AGM networking dinner. During the AGM, MIBC conducted its election exercise for the new term. Mr. Jeevan stepped down as Treasurer, with Dr. Mohammed Ali Salim elected to assume the role. The Council also welcomed Dato’ Ramesh Kodammel as a new Governing Council Member.

The evening featured a keynote address by Mr. Ahmad Farrin Mokhtar, who presented on the prospects and opportunities in Malaysia-India construction cooperation. His Excellency B. N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, was also present and shared timely updates on India’s growth trajectory and the strengthening bilateral ties between India and Malaysia.
