Datuk Surendran, Honorary Secretary of the Malaysia-India Business Council (MIBC), undertook a working visit to New Delhi, India, from 17 to 18 November. On 17 November, he met the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, together with officials from MITI and MIDA, for discussions on strengthening bilateral trade and investment priorities. He continued the day with a meeting at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), followed by engagements with The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, India (MSME India). On 18 November, Datuk Surendran held a dedicated session with Invest India to explore new areas of cooperation and investment facilitation. The visit further reinforced MIBC’s commitment to advancing Malaysia–India economic, trade and industry linkages through sustained strategic engagement.
