On 25 September 2025 at KLGCC, the Malaysia-India Business Council (MIBC) and the Consortium of Indian Industries in Malaysia (CIIM) jointly hosted Hon’ble Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. The meeting commenced with introductions by MIBC, representing the Malaysian Indian business community led by Tan Sri Kuna Sittampalam, followed by CIIM, representing Indian businesses in Malaysia led by Datuk Umang Sharma. In the ensuing discussions, participants emphasised the strong and growing business and economic engagement between India and Malaysia. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, who served as the vital bridge in enabling this meaningful interaction.
